Do you want to accompany the Ser River for a few hours? This route will allow you to discover the secrets of our landscape. This path takes us up, offering magnificent views while transporting us back in time, connecting us with the history and essence of La Garrotxa in a 4x4.
4x4 ROUTE
SANTA MARIA DE FINESTRES
The route that follows the Ser River will take us from Santa Pau to places full of history and nature.
We will start by heading towards Sant Martí Vell, following the valley until we reach the picturesque Torn, a charming little village. We will continue towards Mieres and ascend the Finestres mountain range to Can Raspat.
After leaving the vehicle, we will walk to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Finestres, with Romanesque origins from the 10th century.
From here, we can enjoy a typical Garrochino lunch and explore the remains of the nearby castle. With a wide panoramic view of the volcanic area of La Garrotxa and the Canigó massif in the background, as well as the lake of Banyoles, it will be a perfect moment to connect with the past and nature.
On the way back, we will make a stop at the Salto de Can Batlle to cool off, ending a memorable day in Santa Pau.
